Hassayampa River Preserve

The Hassayampa River Preserve is a favorite area of mine in Arizona! It's on the way to Wickenburg and every time I visit I feel like I am arriving back in Pennsylvania and the fun parks and lakes I'd frequent growing up. There are hiking trails, birds galore, and flowing water! (Which I find very exciting in the desert!) The colors are absolutely beautiful and there are so many places to explore.

I was invited to tag along with a friend and her two little cuties over my spring break. It was so much fun! I had a chance to bask in my love of nature photography as I chased after beautiful hummingbirds. I also was able to capture some sweet moments of the boys and their amazing mom! She's a photographer too! You should check out her work here! The boys had a blast exploring the area, rock climbing, and playing in the water.  The cottonwood trees were dropping their seeds, so there was cottonwood floating everywhere like snow! Such an amazing morning!
