This handsome fellow, my first 2015 senior of the season, just happens to also be my cousin! I can't believe he is old enough to be a senior. It seems like yesterday I was watching him destroy his first birthday cake as only a little one year old boy can!

This summer, while I was back visiting in Pennsylvania, we were able to squeeze in his senior session. I learned a lot from this session and realized how much I've learned about lighting living in Arizona. (I am a little obsessed with the amazing lighting in Pennsylvania as well as unique buildings and trees.) But the biggest take away from this session, and one I am still laughing to myself about is… when you are photographing a senior boy, don't ask him to put on a serious face and then laugh at him. :) I just couldn't help it though! It was almost instantaneous that I'd ask him to be serious and then I'd start cracking up. But at least it worked in my favor for some really genuine smiles and laughs!
